Editing wants to be FREE!

At Transom we are always interested in the best tools for the least money. We have extensive tutorials on ProTools, mainly because their free version is, well, FREE. But there are new free software options now, like Audacity, which works on any system platform. Jeff Towne, our TOOLS Editor, took Audacity for a drive and filed a report, including benefits, drawbacks, and lots of insider tips for radio producers.
