Since Nubar Alexanian's tenure as Special Guest on Transom Talk, many in our community have been asking how they can purchase a print copy of Nubar's World Trade Center photo, taken in 1991. Nubar has graciously decided to make this photo available for download, but in return he asks for your help.
About the 9/11 Fund
Photographer Joel Meyerowitz has spent the past few months taking photographs of Ground Zero for the Museum of City of the New York archives. He had also been shooting pictures of the Manhattan skyline and the World Trade Center Towers since 1981. The last photo he took of the skyline was shot four days before the September 11 attacks.
Listen to Joel Meyerowitz discuss the World Trade Center Archive.
How to Contribute
Contributions should be made out to the "World Trade Center Archive" and earmarked for "Joel Meyerowitz/Archive", written somewhere

The image should begin downloading in a new browser window. It's a large file (4mb), so please be patient.
How to Print
Once the image has loaded into the new window, you can simply print the photo from your browser.
You can also save the file to disk [FILE - SAVE AS], place it on a portable disk, and print it elsewhere. Most photo stores allow you to bring in digital photos for printing at their facilities. The charge is usually negligible.
